Well Edie Brickell & New Bohemians have finally made it to the Archives. The first show posted is from a private birthday party on 10-24-1987, great show to hear.

For those of you who are fans of the band, there will be a bunch of other SBD/Matrix shows posted over the next couple of months.

Edie Brickell & New Bohemians came out with a new cd late last year called Stranger Things. It's well worth picking up, for their first release in almost 16 years, it's even better than the old stuff. Download it at iTunes or pick a copy up in stores. I highly recommend it.

Look for more great shows to be on their way soon.

I wish it had mp3s for easy listening. (but I know there are issues with compressed versions).

We can always ask Pete if he could put both formats out there. A lot of people don't like mp3 because they lose quality of sound, but for those who use iPods they are easy to upload the files directly to the iPod.

I'll see if they are willing to put mp3's but I think these guys prefer the lossless FLAC format.

Yes, there are those that do not want compressed files on the archive, but it makes it more difficult for many to try out the concerts. Anyway, I do know it is an issue, but it would be great to see it in mp3.

The Archive will compute them as long at the uploader does not request it not be done.

It should be one of the shows loaded up - I think Stan Recorded it, not sure if Pete will be loading for sure, if not, I have an SBD copy I can load up or send you.

I'll check with Pete and see if he's going to load it. We'll get you sorted either way.

Great to see EB&NB on here! Saw 'em in Phoenix at the Celebrity Theater - I think it was '89. Great show! Would love to see it uploaded if anyone's got it.
